The participants light each one’s torchlight by relay and make a wish to the Moon House.

▶ Straw Rope Making Competition |
- People made the straw ropes and tied the thatched-roof with them every second or third year to prevent the roof from being blown away in the past. Participants can see a straw rope making demonstration, the unique folk culture of Jeju that disappeared, and make one by themselves.

▶ Deumdol Lifting |
- Deumdol is the rock put at the entrance of each village, which the youth in a village used to show who was the strongest. As the coming-of-age celebration that was very popular in Jeju, a man lifts the round rock of 100 to 130 kg and runs as far as he can.

▶ Neokdungbegi |
Traditional Yutnori of Jeju. The citizens and tourists can join this folk game using Neokdungbegi (4 small wood sticks) to play Yutnori.

▶ Setting Fire to the Oreum |
Wildfire on the area of 300,000 ㎡ on Saebyeol-Oreum is set and burns the Moon House set on the Oreum. It presents the grandiose feast of fire to visitors. The visitors burn out the bad luck of the last year and make a wish for the New Year.
