About Major Programs

The second day dynamically starts with a Straw Rope Making Competition, a unique tradition of Jeju to make a straw rope holding the straw on a thatched house, and Neokdungbegi (yutnori, the traditional game of Korea), the traditional game of Jeju, which all participants and visitors can enjoy together.

With the Unity Festival enabling the youth to show their ample talents, the Jeju dialect competition where people speak in the affectionate Jeju dialect by groups, and the community song festival where everyone can show off their singing ability regardless of others¡¯ judgment, all Jeju citizens sing the harmony and co-prosperity in unity.

Additionally, a variety of events based on the "Horse," one of the main themes of the Deulbul Festival, including Concours Dressage, torchlight march and fireworks will brilliantly embroider the night of the second day.
